2020 Spring Break Camps

Ages 5-10 years. Siblings welcome! (5% discount for siblings or multiple week registration.)
2 Separate Spring Break Camps:
(Week 1) 3/16-3/20: M-F 9:30am-12:30pm (*Children bring a packed nut-free lunch.)
(Week 2) 3/23-3/27: M-F 9:30am-12:30pm (*Children bring a packed nut-free lunch.)

Overview: Daily easel painting, 1 main project, free-choice dry art stations, sketchbook drawing games and techniques as well as collaborative mural-building. Along the way, French is always offered in our programs, exploring colors, numbers and simple phrases pertaining to the Art process of the day.
Projects: Join us for diverse materials and lots of hands-on art, including an introduction to Shostakovich’s ’The NOSE’- a Russian farce fairy-tale with character-making, culminating in a performance week 1 followed by unique material exploration, creativity & fun inspired by the masters, multicultural arts and contemporary artists week 2.

Even Lunch is ART! Campers enjoy a unique “pique-nique” style lunch, allowing for the added opportunity to discover artists, learn artists’ stories & discover cultures while exploring French and art vocabulary… it’s fun! (*Children bring their own (nut-free) lunches.)
Class size is limited to 10 children – So don’t wait! 2-3 teachers attend each day to support your child in confidently creating with freedom and new art skills.
