Thursday 10/3 & Friday 10/4 When school is off, CCA is on! Learn more below & get 20% OFF!  This week in our Rosh Hashanah Camps were making Liquid Lava Lamp Rainbows w. R.O.G.B.I.V.! Each child takes up 6 homemade lava lamps. Our colorful Lava Lamps are a fun project that combines science and color theory! Each student will make mini lava lamps ‘Rainbow’ using the primary colors. The lava lamps begin with a simple combination of water, mineral oil and food coloring. Will the oil float on top of the water? Or move to the bottom? They’ll have to come to see! For the “lava” effect, we add an Alka-Seltzer tablet and watch it Fizzzz…. As it dissolves, it releases gas bubbles that carry colored water upward, creating a mesmerizing lava lamp effect. The kids love watching the bubbles rise and fall while learning about liquid densities. Use code CCASAVE20. Offer expires 10/4.
