Artist / Founder Claires Creative Adventures

Claire is a professional artist and muralist as well as a dynamic art and music teacher.  She leads art tours and teacher training throughout the city and is a consultant for large scale children’s events.  Her background in theatrical set painting also allows for vast material use in all of her activities.
 
Claire’s excellent reputation is based on her enthusiasm and a genuine respect for each child’s individual needs. She engages children of all ages to excel in confidence, art skills and especially social development in a fun, nurturing and exciting environment. Claire has been teaching children for over 25 years.
 
Her arts-based program has been shared with many schools throughout the Manhattan area, including the Allen-Stevenson School, the United Nations School, the Marymount School, the Chapin School, the St. James Episcopal Church, the Sunshine Kids Club, and the 92nd street Y.  She has provided art consultation for the Children’s Museum, NYC-Parents in Action and the American Friends of the Tel Aviv Museum of Art for hundreds of children  at each Family Art Day.
